i know those days all too well..
i play from the tips and i usually shoot pretty shitty when i play a new course..
i have been working a lot on course management and focusing on each shot as opposed to looking at the hole as a whole if that makes sense..
about 70% of course shots are made from 100 yards or less, so i have been trying to focus on getting to 100-125 out instead of focusing on getting on the green..
my instructor has me laying up on par 4 and 5's instead of trying to hit the green..
its really helped me to focus on each shot even though i am making a lot of bogeys on par 4's that i would probably par if i went for it..
