that's too bad. he was a one trick pony, and his trick wasn't that interesting, and he was addicted to ad hominem, the last refuge of the weak debater - but he did represent a particular point of view a bit more intelligently than many on his side.
if he didn't foolishly rely on personal attacks, which exposed his own lack of faith in his position, his contributions weren't that bad.
but, if he really wanted to be here, and really sent traffic to somebody, he could have presumably told eric about a domain he owned. it doesn't seem like the bar is set all that high.
