I would've hardly referred to Duesberg and Mullis as "denialist" but like I said I don't really wish to debate it with you. The Guardian is your source? Second hand reporting from unquestioned biased sources rather than first hand information from a Nobel Prize winning scientist and head of microbiology at Berkeley... both of whom I have had the privilege to meet personally.
Scientific debate, which should only be encouraged, not politically motivated, biased, and ultimately censored, is the real issue here, not politics. But whatever, show me all your statistics and I will introduce you to people that are HIV free after being told they would die within two to four years from AIDS.
More people still die from TB worldwide by over a factor of ten times the rate of AIDS and you don't see even half the fuss to "find the cure". But it is really more like... find the drug that people have to take daily, right?
