I don't run TGP's anymore, but I do run an intense business.
I take my laptop, which I replaced my desktop with. Never mabe a better decision. Not only is it twice the machine my old desktop was, it's highly portable.
If there is some kind of wreck.. like for instance sql or html goes down, I have the

If I need to, I have a couple of trustworthy guys that have access to my admin areas.
One is my close friend and host, and the other is a webmaster I trained in the business a while back. I do the same for both of them when they're gone.
Those are a couple of options you can look into, besides and auto updating TGP, like "Comus Thumbs" (

Otherwise, the sky will not actually fall in ya know ;)....
