The only thing that body scanners and pat downs are essential for is...trying to catch people with a bag of pot or a gram of cocaine. Terrorism my ass. The govt. is hell bent on making the "War on Drugs" work.
Five years ago the news was reporting that "Al Queda was working with drug cartels in Columbia" Back then I said to myself: "What a crock of shit. So these insane radical Muslims who hate the West are suddenly gonna team up with Ultra-Catholic South Americans? Yeah...right."
Then yesterday, CNN is saying that there are reports that "Hezbollah is working with Mexican drug cartels"
How fucking dumb does the govt. really believe we are? Again...they are trying to insinuate that radical muslims who HATE the Catholic church in particular (can anybody say "crusades") are suddenly teaming up with Ultra-Catholic Mexicans.
It's nothing but going after drugs in the name of "terrorism".
One thing is for sure...if nothing else 9-11 succeeded in taking away a ton of our freedom and has made our govt. more oppressive than ever.
