Considering she did an interview with Good Morning America and ABC News where she claims he assaulted her and she plans to sue him, I think he's striking first. I can't find the first article I read about her interviews, but his reps said basically that she's full of shit and that she's making this up now. They said if it was true, why didn't she talk about it before? They also added that they will fight her lawsuit relentlessly, and that they won't pay her a penny.
So, it looks like he's striking first, so he has the power to say, drop your lawsuit and I'll drop my extortion lawsuit. Smart thinking by his lawyers.
