Unfortunately that just isn't practical for a lot of people. However, I do think if there is enough of a boycott the airlines and airports may finally realize they need to make changes. They might be the only ones that have enough power to make a difference. Even Congress is getting pushed aside... which is amazing in itself.
There is more and more talk of airports bringing in private firms for security. They would still need to adhere to TSA rules, but I think the idea is private security firms don't have the same employee protection that the TSA would have and so they can filter out "bad employees" quicker.
