The problem with laws like this is that they grow in power and illegitmate autority like The Blob.
For example did you know that the Federal Commuincations Commissioni (FCC) was originally only given the power to assign licenses and frequencies for radio boradcasters in the FCC Act of 1934, as amended 1935? Most of what the FCC does is by administrative ruling, which is given the force of law but in reality is not law.
Same for a number of other government agencies like BATFE which has actually ruled that certain firearms are machine guns even though no firearm matching the description in the circulars has ever been found?
The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) operates much in the same manner.
We have entirely too many laws and our Federal government is out of control.
