Monsanto is all over this, they created the "terminator gene" which effectively renders the plants unable to produce viable seeds forcing farmers to re-buy their GMO bullshit.
Not only that, these terminator seeds are all over the world now and have corrupted naturally growing crops once again rendering their seeds unviable.
It has been said that in reality Monsanto controls about 2/3rds of the world's food supply, and they are certainly out to control ALL OF IT.
