Our affiliate division had a recent AWE check that was "apparently lost in the mail". When we emailed AWE, they told us to submit a trouble ticket. When we submitted a trouble ticket, they told us to submit ANOTHER trouble ticket requesting a stop payment on the check, and advising us that it would cost $35.00 for the stop payment. Then we emailed Dave at AWE and got this somewhat puzzling reply:

Have you considered other payment options besides check? i.e. payoneer? its safer and cheaper.
Huh? I'm not sure what he meant by relevant question; we asked nothing about "actual figures". AWE's Dave admitted (to another affiliate) to "more than one" checks that were lost during the same time period. And yet they STILL charged affiliates the $35.00 for the stop payment.

We're STILL waiting for the check... hoping that perhaps one day it will arrive.

We've been lucky; only dealt with one other program who had payment problems. We had to sit through a one-hour conference call to figure out why we never received their $110.00 payment. They filed bankruptcy shortly thereafter...
