teabaggers make a big deal about earmarks. ALL earmarks total $16 billion. Cutting military spending by just 5% saves DOUBLE that. I also laugh at the idea cutting of 250K government contractors and cutting government employees by 10%. Ok putting more people out of work is going to help the economy? Where are the jobs in the private secor that these people can go to? Where going to make all these people unemployed to "save" money then give them unemployment, foodstamps, WIC, HUD, etc, etc. None of that stuff by the way is taxble in any form unlike their paycheck so the government has even LESS money for the budget thus increasing the deficit.

You know we've got THOUSANDS of bridges and other infrastructure that are 30, 40, 50 years old or older that are verge of collapse. Why not put people to work fixing that shit? It needs to be done anyways.
