THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH. all wars are fought for the social elite. The regular citizens death or life do not really matter if the interest of the social elite are full filled. that is how it has always been.
The difference between fighting for your country and fighting for your countries best interests is merely semantics... But making the claim that everyone who served and died after the war of 1812 was for nothing more than money and greed alone on a day which is meant to honour them? That is both low and shameful.
