It's simple.
People will steal whatever they can until there are consequences. Most people.
If someone could download a new 55 inch Samsung TV directly into their living room, they would do it -- but they can't, so that's why they go to Best Buy. They could try walking out the front door with a giant TV box, but the cops would arrest them, so they pay for it. This shit ain't rocket science, its basic human behavior.
