I got the flu... Started out with soar throat, then had the aches/fever -- now my lungs are all fucked up... 3 days now and I can breathe better and the goop is coming up...

I was just thinking how probably many of you have health issues... I know this is a good job for sick people because you can stay home and set your own hours... Once I had a job at a library -- and everything was cool until they started changing the carpets... Whatever they did -- it smelled horrible and I got bad headaches. I had to quit... After that I did SE work for an othotics and prosthetics company... at the same time I was spending insane hours doing 3D modeling work... Too much computer work -- I got early stages of carpal tunnel syndrome! I was still in college and that's when I decided that I didn't want to work in the 3D graphics field... which was disappointing because I had just spent 3 years of college intending to do computer graphics -- but I figured if I was having wrist problems at the age of 23 -- this was stupid for me to pursue as a career... Regardless I quit that job and I gave up on industrial design or being a 3D modeler for movies/computer games. That was a difficult challenge for me to face... Luckily I later found that swimming was the cure for my carpal tunnel problems -- but to this day I still fear long long hours of slouching in front of a PC.

It was at that orthotics and prosthetics job that I heard tales of guys gaining overnight success in the adult industry... I didn't think much of that until I was working for an ISP and graduation was just around the corner... I wasn't counting on my art degree to provide me with an enjoyable career... My boss was a moron -- my relationship of 6 years was falling apart... she wasn't putting out -- I'm guessing that's why I started surfing for porn -- and my co-workers at the ISP were obsessed with porn and they encouraged me to build a site...

It's funny how your health can kindof shape your career...
