Know what the odd thing about the Community Reinvestment Act was? Credit Unions got the same benefits, did the same loans..... but never had the same problems. That's because the the CU's weren't doing shady shit.

I don't know so much about the details in US policy, but I learned that it was Clintons policy that originally made people investing more than they could pay back. On short it benefits the economy (and Clinton) but not sustainable.
