They shoved a health care reform package that the majority of the American people did not want. An unconstitutional demand that all Americans buy health insurance. Never has the federal government had the right to coerce every citizen to purchase a good or service.
He's implemented legislation and policies effectively nationalizing financial institutions, automobile companies, health care and many other previously private interests.
He's also actively pursuing cap-and-trade legislation giving the government unprecedented control over the economy and American businesses.
Obama and his administration undermined our constitutional system of checks and balances; ignoring procedures and the rule of law; assaulting the very pillars of traditional capitalism.
Achieving all of this because he was supported by large majorities in Congress. He set the election results today in stone months ago.
Like I said in another thread, the American public has spoken.  It's not that we wanted a Republican takeover, it's that we didn't want Obama to freely continue on his destructive war path. |
Yet on CNN tonight they were reporting that exit polls showed that the economy was the #1 concern for 68% of voters today. Health care and the health care bill only got 14%.
So Obama rammed a lot of this down the throat, but in the end it is mostly about the economy. While he and the democrats were busy trying to force thought the health care bill and pass their pet projects the should have been focusing on real world solutions to helping the economy get back on track.
