Nah. The way rep works anywhere else is that everyone can leave it, but your points are weighted by your own rep. That way, if a noob or an asshole that doesn't have much rep leaves you red daily it doesn't really affect your score. If you are weighted heavily and neg them it will take even more of the rep power away. When it's set up like this some asshole negging you is just something to laugh at.

For this to work you have to stop the abuse of swapping rep. The biggest trolls on here participated in some trading bullshit and now they go around negging people for fun. In the correct setup they never would have had much power to start and the return negatives would have taken it down to zippo. It's self regulating when implementation isn't so retarded.
