Your blog looks good, but you definitely need a title. The blog shows up in the toolbar as
http://blog.victoriasummers.com/, when it should show up as Victoria Summers, or Victoria Summers Blog.
The first link in your source is to the blog header image, rather than your title, as it should be, and the image doesn't even have an alt tag, which doesn't help.
The second link in your source is to 'Skip to content' and the third one is to 'home'.
You really need the first link to be to your title, preferably in H1 tags.
Others have already discussed the rest. whether you go for lots of written text or not is debatable, but it does help. It probably wouldn't be quite as important if you add alt tags to images , and have quite a few posts.
The images are for the surfer, but you do need some text (seen or in the source code) for the bots.
