I go to Surrey Meat Packers. They have ground meat with bone in (and even meat with veggie in too). I get 50lb freezer packs of bone-in ground chicken, frozen into 1lb bricks, for $1.50 / lb. Eggs, yogurt, veggie, you should have around anyway. Liver and kidney you can usually get fairly cheap from a regular supermarket BUT cruise the butcher shops because they have offcuts often. Trimmings from your own food are obviously free (chicken backs & necks, etc)

If you want to go meat-based kibble food like Wellness, Blue Buffalo, or Orijen, then the prices can go up rapidly.
