Not only are Google's recent actions extremely suspect, their entire modus operandi in the search world has been equally dubious.
Here is an example. I am Joe Blow. I am going to do a search for "Hot Sluts Of Miami 4."
When I do the search in Google for that movie, the first 10 (at least) listings which come up are 90% illegal tubes and torrents. Everyone in GFY has probably gone thru any number of searches on videos and seen these results for any given film.
So why is that? How is it that Google somehow thinks i am looking to download this video illegally? They are well aware of what they are doing and who they are listing, so how is it that they are telling me "Yes these are the right top listings according to our amazing google technology, so why don't you click on that torrent link and download the movie?"
They are knowingly contributing to piracy.
On the other hand do a search for a porn video on yahoo and bing. I can guarantee you will find far less tubes and torrents in the search listings, and personally i find the results far more relevant most of the time.
I think yahoo and bing are superior s.e.'s and better for business, so in reality we should be promoting them for surfers to use.
Okay that all sounds pretty fragmented..heh...but in summary- Google out:Yahoo/Bing in
