I have pacus! Well, now I only have one, but we used to have two. Not sure what happened but one day one of them had his face smashed in.
The one we have left is probably about a year old now. Not sure how big he is, at least 6". People always think he's a Piranha. Very nice red markings. He's a handsome boy but still a bit of an asshole.
Along with the pacu we've got 2 dinosaur eels, an african leaf fish, a few different kinds of danios, a few gouramis, and a tiger pleco.
I had an apple snail for a while, he was pretty awesome, loved feeding him lettuce. One day, after having him for months the Pacu set his sights on him and that was it.
I was so bummed. I try not to get too attached to anything in the tank since you never know, but I really dug him. I want to get another one but am on the fence about it, would break my heart if he killed again.
