Well you can sometimes gauge a persons positive contribution based on the fact that they've been a member for years and made only a select amount of posts (not counting the troll nicks of course).
Basically you just need to be able to see the sincerity and reputation in poeoples posts and what others say about them. If you haven't been here long enough to tell if someone is a problem solver or problem starter on your own then you should hold off on doing any 'business' here.
