That's what I would do. I don't trust other parents... no way in hell would I let my kid go to another place when I don't know the family. If anything, take them to a public place like a park or the game center at the mall. Maybe even a ball game...

Only problem I had 3 Police K-9 trained attack dogs in the house. two have since died, but my big boy who is the most protective is still here. Tough situation for liability. And my kid always says can I show my friends how our K9 will attack burglars. Yeh just what I need.
