I sometimes see increases of 2-3 million hits on a site I run, serving other webmasters from which I gain nothing, and I investigate to make sure the increase in traffic isn't nefarious and some times I can't pinpoint it so I let it slide. I could equally not bother investigating and go running to GFY asking why traffic dropped by 1 mill or gained by 3 mill, but I don't.
Just sayin.
In any case, if it helps your quest, my site was doing a steady 5 million lookups/day and since the weekend is steady on 8mill. So I saw a large increase over the weekend, but my traffic isn't xnxx related, nor is it tube related, so take this stat on mainstream increase however you wish....

I understand. I've made the posts to see if we were alone in the situation. If we were alone then it was a change we made. If we weren't then it was completely out of our control. It's important information to have imo and lately there have been a number of highs and lows. From an affiliate program perspective it does nothing to help get business when I post twice that we had really shitty days and when i post our tube traffic is up. Papillon just always has to be negative in every thread of mine. |
