They should try getting some sports stars and musicians to do some projects like that. Kids look up to those guys more than the President.

The fact that kids do not look up to the President is a HUGE problem. Not a specific President, but the 'office' of President. Badmouthing the President for blunders is useful in a Democracy, badmouthing the President just to do it... isn't. Few people disliked George Bush as much as I did/do and few people were more outspoken about it than I was/am... but I wasn't sitting around badmouthing the way he threw a first pitch at a baseball game... or the way he nearly choked to death trying to eat a pretzel. I don't think that sort of thing is constructive. I was badmouthing the way he lied us into a war and gutted
Habeas Corpus.
When Obama does something wrong (and there are plenty of examples) go ahead and blast him... when he tries to make Science 'cool' for kids or does some of the admittedly dopey ceremonial stuff that Presidents do... it's not productive to blast him for it.
