I don't think this is a bad idea really, it's just kind of funny when looked at in conjunction with all of the other random TV appearances. Science is good and we used to be known for some of our great scientific achievements... not sure that we are anymore. There are still a lot of great discoveries we need to make, helping kids understand that science really is cool is a good thing.

They should try getting some sports stars and musicians to do some projects like that. Kids look up to those guys more than the President.
