I think anyone compares the two due to their close upbringing and the beef that went on between the two. Not to mention to overwhelming success of both ventures despite the totally different 'genres' and (again) 'upbringings'...
Lets all look at the beef. 8/10 people would throw the downfall at ICP when in fact Eminem fucked the whole hting up from the get go. research it if you need but it sprung form a fuckin flyer for a concert.
I like both artists for their unique poetry. But there is one that stands out from the other... and its not eminem.
The reason they squabble is they both fall under rap. not to mention white guy rap. Both growing up and springing not less than 20 miles apart also fuels the fire.
Same reason people say yoko killed the beatles... because it fits...
