Socks you missed the point. The only reason why someone's ordeal matters way more than others is the media coverage, not because ones is more important.
The point is the media is turning this into a fucking show. If 40+ people or my kid dies in a car crash it would all be a matter of a brief one-day coverage. And the number of people's lives affected would be the same.
However, IF the wall fell on to these miners it would all be a tragedy way bigger that if they just died in an explosion the first day.
It's a show.
