Why the hell would anyone want to buy a girl?
Do you really think that paying for someone's love is in any way fulfilling? Don't you think for a second that she'll only tell you what you want to hear as long as the cash keeps flowing?
A friend of mine went to China, met a hooker, fell in love. He decided he would "take her away" from that life by paying off her debts (she's a gambling addict), pay off her dealer (she's a drug addict), pay off her parents (Some kind of Chinese tradition to accept gifts from suitors), pay for her visa, etc etc, to bring her back to Canada and get married which is just what they did.
7 years and 2 kids later, he tells me that his marriage feels empty. Really? REALLY? NOOOooooo ...
I would much rather be alone than buy a trophy wife, or any wife.
