I have always considered customer service to be one of the "X" factors that makes a successful site. Too many webmasters don't really give a crap about the customers and then wonder why retention sucks, sales suck, etc. (then spend all their time trying to blame it on something like tubes etc.)
I bet plenty of times either publicly or privately, folks look at what you are doing and think or say "what is so special about that?" Or "how is that different from xyz site?" They can stare right at it and never figure it out. You can explain it until you are blue in the face and they still won't get it.
Keep up the great work and kudos to all those who have worked with you to make it happen.

Thanks Far-L. I think you are dead on. A few years ago there were a number of companies that tried to replicate what we were doing. In most cases they did something better than us (better photos, better videos, better layout etc). But they failed to put together the entire package and as a result they failed. When you care about your members it goes beyond just customer service. It may not be something members realize they are getting but it definitely pays off.
