You should never eat at KFC (horrible food aside) - they use a particularly cruel method of klling their chickens just to save a few bucks. I'm not a PITA nut - I just believe in causing the least amount of suffering to the animals that are being killed. KFC dips them into boiling water while they are still alive to make them easier to defeather. Imagine that happening to your dog or cat.
