I'm not surprised by ePassport behaviour here, but by alleged porn industry i-know-it-all peeps who celebrated ePass for years until today, when they scream at ePass ppl and by porn industry million-dollar corps who passed from ePass to a similar thingy with the astonishing "ePass is dead? we're proud to introduce a similar thingy" statement.
For the first ones: ePass clearly stated on their Tos and signup page that you needed a US cheque bank account in order to use the service; they never spoke about other options on their site, they never officially offered the abused have-someone-to-load-your-account option in order to get approved; they said that everybody who was emailing them, but they did that clearly breaking their own Tos. Now, you're surprised that Visa cut them off? Ever thought of the possibility that all this happened because they were breaking their own in-house rules and that those rules were a conditio sine qua non imposed by Visa in first place?
And about the second ones...why a multi-million corp wouldn't allow a wire transfer and would rather use ePass, a similar thingy and very dangerous stuff like that, even if you offered to pay wire transfer fees in full? I love it when the adult industry tries to be ahead of the mainstream one, but when it comes to money and the money that we are talking about is my money, the adult industry should stop behaving Star Trek and Alice in Wonderland and should rather do Business instead of feeding ppl with doubts and fear.
Too easy to cry after; much easier to prevent before.
