Keep in mind that IM applies things left to right so sometimes changing the order of things can produce slightly better results.
For example, -enhance "blurs" the image a bit to putting the sharpen after it can be better.
for sharpening I use -unsharp 1x1+0.6+0.05
The 0.6 is the value that can be changed. 0.4 would be less sharpening, 0.8 more.. I find 0.5 - 0.6 to be adequate most times.
