This bullshit where sponsors hold a few thousand dollars for some bullshit excuse then offer the affiliate another thing they can promote is ridiculous. WHy in the fuck would you want to promote anything from teh guys who just screwed you for thousands in owed commissions? CJ/Godaddy pulled that shit on me for $3k. Froze all my commissions and told me I was welcome to continue promoting them. FUCK THAT. Eventually I did get paid months later, still not going to promote them again...
