Thousand slides? -or- a thousand
sets of slides? ... ok, if it's a thousand sets that I could kinda understand, since that would equate to something like 40,000+ slides. But 1,000 slides ... that doesn't make any sense. But hey, they're your slides so do what you want...
Anyways, point is that the slides, especially depending on what type they are, have value ... you could likely have sold them for some $$$.
