I shot a girl recently who was raised a "witness" as she called it. She didn't celebrate Christmas/Easter, etc, had to go knocking on doors with her mom and most sad of all, she told me on the first day of school each year, she had to go to the teacher and tell her she was a witness and therefore didn't celebrate birthdays so when a kid brought in cupcakes or something for their birthday, she would have to go wait in the hallway while they had their little party. Isn't that sad? :-(
