EVERY person's life is screwed up for getting busted with drugs. You're not thinking clearly.

Let's say YOU bought an eight ball of coke (not saying you do drugs, God knows you're probably too good of a person for doing things EVIL like that) to go out on a Friday night and have a few drinks at the titty bar and score a hooker. In other words, you just want ONE crazy ass night out. People do that sometimes you know.

You're having fun. You're gonna get laid. You're feeling good as the coke and liquor together mix good and give you a great head buzz.

But you go to the restroom and do a quick bump and a cop is there undercover.

He arrests you.

Now an eight ball is a TINY little bag of coke. If you've never seen one...you can take your thumb and forefinger and make the "OK" sign and the bag would fit in there with room to spare.

But guess what? YOU are going to jail for that powder made from a coca leaf. A fucking plant that has been processed to make a powder that gives you an adrenalin rush and makes you feel good.

That is your "crime"

And now? YOUR LIFE IS RUINED MY FRIEND. Especially if you have a "real" job. You just lost it. Now you have to hire an attorney with no job and no income coming in.

And what if you are married and were out fucking around? Or if you have kids?

You no longer have a job, you are losing your family, maybe your home. And if the court hits you with the max...you're gonna be in prison for a while

Don't tell me it ain't destroying lives. In that scenario it destroyed your life, your wife's life, and your kids lives. All because you wanted to have some fun.

Your only REAL crime would be acting foolishly and maybe childishly. But since when is that the fucking governments business?

Just saying...it ain't right. I know I can't convince the ultra social conservative gang here at GFY, but I just am in shock that our society has been so conditioned to this by Nixon's "War On Drugs" that was supposed to last a few months and instead has went on for FORTY YEARS
