think they want the "freedom" to serve openly. they
think they are being held down.
not repealing it = business as usual. hardened gays (no pun intended) that do take warriorship seriously will continue to subvert the system in order to serve, and it boosts false outrage to convince even more of them to join, thus strengthening the military while maintaining the option to eliminate anyone they choose at any time..
repealing it = serves to inject further acceptance into society and remove the fear block many of them collide with when considering enlisting while simultaneously installing a new temporary fear block to the existing hetero section of the military, (temporary because acceptance is on the way), thus weakening the overall military by an infusion of emotionally driven limp gays (again, no pun intended) that do not take warriorship seriously and the spreading of internal conflict between military heteros & homos..
either way, we lose.
the choice is irrelevant..
