You do realize that immediately after 9/11 Iran was hugely helpful to us with the intelligence they provided about Al Qaeda/Afghanistan/Iraq. There was a more moderate and very pro-west government in office then too. 1,000,000+ Iranians had a candlelight vigil in the streets in Iran IN SUPPORT OF THE US after 9/11.
