Taking as what you are saying as prima facia true... I continually wonder why, when the extremists are constantly "hijacking" the name of Islam for their extremist views, why aren't there Imams standing up to denounce and distance themselves from the Jihadists? It's obvious that the whole world, (not just the US) connects the extremist jihad types to Islam, so why aren't the leaders of the moderate majority of Muslims on TV, telling the world that the extremists are wrong and evil, and doing their best to help turn them in to the authorities?
