Correct me if I am wrong, but you contradict yourself, He offered you $100 so that is what he is willing to pay not the $500 that you were selling for in 2011 ??? 2001 did you mean maybe ?
None the less it would have been a sale and you could have said ok but I am going to sell it semi exclusive then if all you are willing to offer is $100 ... and go from there...
