the rate before as you put it came into play during the great depression
In 1925 it was 25%
In 1932 it was raised to 63%
In 1936 it was raised to 79%
It was 4 years later before the Depression ended with WWII
In 1945, because of the cost of the war, it was 91% and stayed there till 1963
We need a government that lives within it's means, if we can't afford war, then pull out. Taxing the rich is stupid, they are the people that employ others.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
