i guess Maui was expensive as hell too... love Maui too. weird... they both feel like "home" to me. probably more so here in Cali though. but yeah.... SF is awesome.

One of my best friends lives in Alameda and I visited him there for the first time in 2005. If I didn't love London so much and had a (then starting) relationship here I would have moved because I liked it so much. Then, again, I am a bleeding heart liberal that grew up in a conservative and cold part of the country. So, the combination of sunshine and like minded people might just have been seducing me. It is a bit like London really but with that sunshine.
Am I weird that I thought the Bay Bridge was more impressive than the Golden Gate?
