i would be a LOT do. the problem is they (the people being scammed) are stupid, naive and greedy... so they are perfect prey.
a few years back this guy I worked with his sister-in-law sent over $30k to the nigerians in hopes of getting millions from a distant relative. he said she maxed out credit cards, sold everything she could to get the money, etc., and even went as far as getting their house refinanced.
I couldnt imagine being like that. you keep thinking if you send just a little more they will actually send you the money.
Cant we just turn off the Internet to nigeria?
