I had to pay a bond to ensure I didn't stay. Yes there are internal checkpoints but the one closest to me on I87 is almost always closed. Its like they put it there only in case they ever had to lock down our borders. Its closed that much. 99% of the time.

We tried crossing at Hill Island. I figured i'd be even more screwed if i lied but it seems like i should have. its too bad you get further lying than being honest. I figured it was 14 years ago and if i was honest, they'd see me as no threat. guess not.
