The doc said the flow in my Carotid arteries may not be as it should be...so I have to go in Monday for tests. I failed to ask the doc what the test entailed...so does anyone here know what the test entails and the period of time it takes to complete the test?

i realy hope everything goes well for you.. but on the other hand, maybe your doc has other interests?

Dr. Wang, came up with one of the oddest pick-up lines I've heard. Instead of the usual "come here often?" Dr. Wang scanned the sonogram screen and said, "You look terrific -- you've got the carotids of a 20-year-old." This immediately brought to mind a song from the new version of "Flower Drum Song" recently opened on Broadway, "When men say I'm sweet as honey/and my teeth aren't teeth but pearls/I just lap it up like honey/I enjoy being a girl." Teeth, yes. Carotids? And then Dr. Wang said, "That's great because you're in great shape if there's another terrorist attack." Dr. Wang grinned and shifted his weight like boys do when they're nervous around girls, and said we could talk more about that.
Carotids and terrorism as seduction. This is a trend I had missed. I should get out more.
