The Middle East isn't that much different than Europe and America was a few hundred years ago. 500 years ago the Protestants and Catholics were killing each other in England. 300 years ago we burned "witches" in Salem, and 100 years ago Lynchings in America weren't uncommon. The only difference is that we progressed and evolved further than they have. And if this invasion helps the area catch up to where we are now then that's definitely a good thing.
