He has basically said he is an atheist on many occasions. Most of his family members are atheists.
Stop arguing with yourself about which deity he prays to. I'm afraid he's not that stupid. He only believes in god when some idiot theist has their mic shoved in his face.
Just like most people in power he says that he believes in god to satisfy the idiot masses.
