I think you should have figured out by now that no matter who is in office - whether that office is municipal, state, provincial, federal, whatever, politicians are going to lie to you and rip you off.

They are in it to serve their own interests, and the interests of their buddies and business partners. They do not care about you or your needs. Not anymore.
