For me it is less about the sex that I feel sorry for her about. But she has never been kissed. That means she has never wrapped her arms around someone she cared deeply for and kissed them passionately. To me that is a pretty amazing feeling and it is something that she missed out on.
It reminds me of the Neil Young lyric: "there's one more kid that will never go to school, never get to fall in love, never get to be cool."
